12.6 Hours a day online, what was the point of moving abroad? 21st March 2002 in Exeter, United Kingdom

Just got the BT Bill. It said I spent 139 hours in the last month on surftime. 139 hours / 30 days = 4.6 Hours a day. 4.6 Hours at home + 8 hours at work = 12.6 Hours a day online. I spend more time online than anything else. Kinda weird. I Still have time to drink and party on the weekends though. Scary thing is that my internet usage has dropped since I was in high school. I imagine it would of been 14 or 15 hours then, considering the lack of sleep and the time spent in the computer labs.

I was able to eat pasta for breakfast, lunch and dinner for the majority of six months (yes I"ve been the UK that long) and now I can"t eat it anymore (or at least the cheap tesco stuff I always ate). I wonder if the same will happen with PC"s and the Internet. I imagine I"ll be disconnected when I go to Australia. Being there, all you want to do is enjoy being there. Seeing photos, movies, ect... of OZ doesn"t come close to bringing the feeling of being there. When I got there it seemed like the whole point of everything was just to get there.

Learn to use pc at 5 -> get job at cadvision that paid enough -> to goto Australia.

Now all I"m thinking is:

Finish up traveling Europe -> Move to London -> Get job to save enough to -> get a work permit for Australia and -> go back.

I hope a year in OZ is enough to get it out of my system, that way I can move back to Canada and get started on my business plan and not have the itch to travel there or anywhere else for at least 3 months. My Business plan will revolve around me traveling around and selling hosting services and installing equiptment at points of presence.

Starting my own company is the only way I"ll ever (1) not have to work for anyone but the customers and (2) have a chance at making a lot of money. (Unless someone wants to make a movie about my life ;-))
