Going out and Crediton 16th April 2002 in Exeter, United Kingdom

Last week my mate Robbie and I went down to Walkabout. After a few beers I think I became the first North American to understand and sort of enjoy the game of Cricket. It"s a good thing that wore off as quickly as the buzz from the Stella.

On Sunday Robbie, Robbies Mrs., Dave and I headed out to Crediton for the day. We ended up spending the day playing Hogs of War, eating pizza, drinking Dr. Pepper and having a great time.

During the afternoon, Robbie and I drove into town to pick up the food and drinks. We stopped at a cost-cutters (a convince store). The girl at the till was hungover from the night before. I brought some food up to the till and put it on the counter. She looked into my eyes with this blind stare. I looked back and said "Hey ya". She looked down at the food and said "Oh, ok". And then ran it through the til. She then told me "That will be £5.76, no... wait... £3.29.... um no, £2.45". I then replied with "I"m waiting for a pound". I guess the til finally stopped spinning and the final total came to £2.45.

Last night I went out to meet Julie and Debbie, two girls I know from Feniton. My boss rang me up while we were at the bar. He then asked me what the password was to my NT Box at work. I felt like such a geek having to repeat 3 times in front of the girls "Papa-Romeo-Tango-Alpha-9-Golf-Foxtrot". I might as well have ended the call with "10-4 Officer down" while I was at it.

I"ll be in London this weekend staying here with my mate Tanya, the girl that came with me to Barcelona. You reach me on my mobile. I found out it"s free for me to recieve calls on my mobile, god knows how much it costs you lot back home.
