I got the job at Eclipse. They all seem like a bunch of nice folks so I think I will enjoy myself there. Maria, Anna and I were out house hunting but the cheapest flat we could find was £2000 for the first month and £945 each month after. The house was 1/3 the size of my mom's house.

I saw someone win who wants to be a millionaire on TV last night. They won £1,000,000 and they said they were going to try a put a dent in their mortgage. 3 Bedroom houses in London can be about £1,500,000+.

The two girls were having a hard time finding work since their English is so poor but I saw them on the way up to the Internet cafe and they had just gotten a job at a restaurant. I like excited Spanish girls; they can get quite frisky.

We were playing scrabble last night. First we did it in English and they accused me a cheating because "Shag" wasn't in the dictionary. I couldn't believe Maria asked to play scrabble against me, I kicked her ass at the game. Afterward we played scrabble in Spanish and I got slapped around like a Korean farm girl that forgot to do the dishes. Funny how I come to England to indulge in English culture and I'll probably sound more like a refined Spaniard than a working class Brit by the time I get back home.

The music in the restaurants is quite different from back home. Every song they play is a remix of another song in the top ten. If you get stuck in a really bad restaurant you?ll end up with remixes of 80's tunes. I swear if I hear the rastified-jungle-babalon remix of "tainted love" one more time I'll freak.

Going to the pub tonight to celebrate, England vs. Greece tomorrow and I start work on Monday.
