Spending time with Twilla, Canada is Beautiful 12th June 2002 in Calgary, Canada


Today I woke up at around 10 am. I had some breakfast, got ready and went to Twilla"s for the day. I got there as she was getting out of bed. We chatted as she ate her breakfast and as I practiced my putting in her living room. Then we went down to the gym in her building for a workout. Afterward we headed to the roof of her apartment complex where they have a garden. We laid on the grass in the shade and talked for an hour or so. Then we went down to the reservoir where we climbed down the hillside a bit to a little secluded patch of grass. From there we looked out at the reservoir, the boats driving around, the golf course across on the other side and the Rocky Mountains off in the background. It was so sunny and beautiful.

Afterward we headed back to her flat, she made lunch while I talked to her flat mate and played on her laptop. Twilla really knows how to cook. She made me pasta with beef and the sauce contained herbs that she grew in her living room next to her balcony door. Days off like this are the best. You can"t feel anymore relaxed after a day like today.
