Hangovers and the ability to take on the world 10th July 2002 in Calgary, Canada

I had a lye in this morning, when I woke up I felt a little ceedy. I recalled the brilliant time I had last night and I began to laugh. I got up and felt like I"ve done everything I"ve ever wanted to do up to this point in my life and that I"m going to love my next challenge. I put together some breakfast and watched my flight training DVD for a bit. I got ready and walked down to the bank and then on to Moxies. I couldn"t remember what I was supposed to talk to Twilla about until I was almost there. I walked into the restaurant and noticed there weren"t a lot of customers in there. I winked at a few co-workers as I entered the kitchen. I could smell the amalgamation of food and felt relived that today was my day off.

I walked into the prep area and said hello to Twilla. She was so hung over, she had done the techni-colour yawn 4 times already. I forgot that she hadn"t eaten before we started on the bottle of Jagermister. We talked about when we were going to work out again and I was out of there in about a minute. Walking home was such a treat. With the warm weather, the beautiful haze in the air and the prospects of my flight in 4 weeks, everything seems to be together.
