Dodgy relations? Clubbing in Calgary 28th July 2002 in Calgary, Canada


Yesterday, Twilla and I were in a gas station buying some drinks. As we were waiting in line, another customer commented on what a good looking couple we were. I then, as a joke, said that we were actually brother and sister. Everyone in the store went quite for a minute. Then the employees at the cash register started with the incest jokes (e.g. "Incest is best", "Keep it in the family", ect?). By the end of it I asked Twilla get out her ID to prove that we weren"t related.

Afterward we went to the driving range. Twilla"s swing made a massive improvement in that one session below. When she started she could barely make contact with the ball and at the end she was hitting them 200 yards dead straight.

After the driving range, we came back to my place and got dressed for the club. We then went and got a bottle of wine, chugged it down at her flat and headed to Metro where we danced for a few hours.

Today I headed down to her flat and we hung out for a few hours before heading to the mall to spend our pay cheques. Twilla got some new sandals and a white dress. I got a new necklace and some sun glasses. Then we went to my place, picked up my golf clubs and headed back down to the driving range.

When we got there we were really thirsty. We had forgotten to bring our water bottles and the club house only had Gatorade so we headed up the road to the mini-mall. When we got there it had started to rain, so we ordered some food from the pizza parlor, got some drinks from the gas station and hung out underneath a shelter on a patch of grass while it rained.

Eventually our food was ready and we ate it whilst watching the rain come down. By the end of our meal it had cleared up a bit so we decided to head back to the driving range. Unfortunately, when we got there, they had closed up for the night due to the weather.

We then decided to walk through fish creek back to my mother"s house. On the way it started to rain again and we got soaked. When we got back my Mother and Step-Dad had gone out for the evening. I invited Twi to change into some of my old clothes so that she could dry. Then was sat with 2 cups of hot chocolate and talked for a while. Afterward we got into a few really good games of chess.
