Got a job, drinking vodka and redbull and technical stuff 9th October 2001 in Exeter, United Kingdom

Last night a bunch of us from the hostel went out to celebrate the new found employment. We went to a place called Metzo's. It was a really nice place. If you can imagine, myself on a big leather couch with Maria to one side and Ana to the other side of me. In front of me is a table covered with vodka and red bull sprits. Across the table are two good mates from the hostel. It was the happiest I have ever been. Poor Ana at about 105LBS had to carry me into the TV room when we got back.

I'm not sure how I could ever leave Europe at this point.

Today I continued my training in: Installing and configuring Cisco 800 Series Routers, RADIUS server diagnostics, Firewall Installations and configurations, E-carrier lines (similar to T-1's, ect?) and how British Telecom screws all the little guys.

This job is far more technical that I ever imagined. Eclipse is a far better company to work for than CADVision. At CADVision you had no freedoms and here you?re the one in charge.

This weekend I'm going to the pub to watch Leicester City v Leeds United. Should be a good game.
