Aufenthaltsgenehmigung Applicant Allstars 28th March 2003 in Bremen, Germany


Last night The "Aufenthaltsgenehmigung Applicant Allstars" almost won the top prize at quiz night at the Irish pub. No, my general knowledge didn"t go through the roof. I had 3 Engineers from the International Space Station program on my team, payload experts tend to be fairly sharp when it comes to this kind of thing. Unfortunitly we lost and we couldn"t get funniest answer either. The presenter said that none of the answers he got were funny.

One question was, what city is the Kastrup airport located? And I had put down that it no longer existed after an American carpet bombing raid (Kastrup is Copenhagen"s airport in case you didn"t know). Now I thought that was damn funny but NOOOO, no free shot for that one. Another question, what is the only mamal to have hair on their palms, and I put The French. Once again, over looked for a free shot.

Just in case your wondering, Aufenthaltsgenehmigung is the application form you fill out in Germany to get a residence permit. I thought it was suiting for a couple of ex-patirates.

I think this just goes to show the most correct answers does not mean everything! The final quiz night before the summer break is in 2 weeks, I"m going solo to take gold in that one.
