Curry wraps, McDonalds, finding flats and good things about Denmark
Exeter, UK
I was hungry this afternoon and Nick was on his way out for lunch. I asked that he pick up a sandwich for me while he was out. He asked what kind and I said something uniquely English. He came back with an East Indian curry warp. I feel like I'm going to throw up. I'm regretting blowing £2 on that shit sandwich. Now I'm angry. I'm never ever, ever, ever eating East Indian food again. I have to go eat at McDonalds to get the taste out of my mouth.
In the housing department, we went to hand in our paperwork today. "We" being everyone but the Spanish girls. They didn't want to pay the £40 fee for the background check so we voted them off. I'm not letting anyone hold me back from getting a flat. We will each pay the same amount for the flat and if they want in at a later date they can speak with the letting agency.
I'm going to be greatly out numbered in this home, I'm probably going to have to learn Danish. A co-worker said to me the other day, the only good things that have ever come out of Denmark are Lego, Bacon and Porn. I can't think of three good things that have come out of Canada.
Tomorrow will be a good day, I get paid and I'm taking Ana with me to the work celebration. We?re celebrating a newly installed firewall, new hosting packages, ect? Should be lots of fun.
