21st Birthday

Hannover, Germany

My 21st birthday was pretty quite. I guess Germany isn"t the greatest place to celebrate such events. We went out for a few pints at a London Tavern on the eve of my birthday. When I woke up the next morning Anja had decorated the living room, set out my presents and made a cake. I really liked all that she had done. Unfortunately, like in most Muslim countries, my work doesn"t view birthdays as a special event so I didn"t get the day off work. I put a photo of me demonstrating the new features and improvements in my software to one of my company"s co-owners. After work we went out for a nice dinner at a Greek restaurant and had a few drinks. I got a few happy birthdays via e-mail and phone. Plus I got a wonderful letter from my friend Line in England. I hate telling people when my birthday is but if you don"t no one will ever know.
