I hate to have to blogg this because it in some way cheapens the material. I can"t find the words to express what is going on right now.

For anyone whom might not know yet, Anja and I are engaged to be married. We haven"t set any dates yet but we will probably get married here in Germany. I"ll have to keep everyone up to date. We have been together for a year now and haven"t had any issues between us, only external factors that we have had to deal with. She makes me really happy and together there isn"t anything we can"t do :-).

Also, I won"t be going to Australia after all. It meant the world to me to go and every day I try to forget how wonderful it was there. My boss told me to give up my 930 euro ticket and enroll myself into a 400 euro a month German course. The course is going really well and I understand everything the teacher says. I still feel ripped off because I was originally told that my time off was ok and so I went and bought the ticket and now that 930 euro is nothing. I felt really bad when my Australian visa was mailed to me yesterday and I won"t be using it. Learning German while in Australia wasn"t an option either :-(
