I have finally circumnavigated the world 4th September 2004 in Brisbane, Australia


I have finally arrived in Brisbane and yesterday September the 3rd, 2004 at 6:30 am local time I circled the world having leaved Brisbane last in May 2001. This city is so laid back and everyone is ultra friendly. The climate is to die for. I really cannot believe this is winter. Winter is Canada means -25C weather, here it means 25C weather.

I've met quite a few nice people and have been walking around Brisbane quite a bit. I can't wait to show off some of the photographs from my journey.

My flight over was really nice but the human body isn't ment to sleep upright. It took about 31 hours to get from my home in London to my hostel here in Brisbane.

Dubai was unbelievable. The shopping was great, the Arabic language looks so beautiful and the level of sophistication among the people is amazing. The only thing that was a bit scary was our flight path. We didn't fly over Africa, we flew straight over northern Iraq and through Iran. I couldn't believe how many oil feilds I saw, there is one like every 2KM.

I have so much to write about but I'm probably going to have to wait until I get home to blogg it all.
