Canada Day / My Birthday 2005 3rd July 2005 in London, United Kingdom


Summer time has always been a good time for me. July 1st was Canada and yesterday, July 2nd was by birthday. It always nice to be able to celebrate your home countries birthday and yours side by side.

On Friday I went to the Canada bar in Covent Garden for some pints over lunch time. At one point the whole bar began to sing Oh-Canada which was really nice to be apart of. My mates, made up of 3 Englishmen and one Estonian seem to really enjoy it as well. I'm glad a bit of Canadian nationalism doesn't make other feel weird.

By the end of the work day the entire street was filled with people, I took a few photos of the crowds.

Saturday was my birthday. I'm really glad that everyone remembered and sent lots of gifts. I don't have any more room for possessions so I'm going to have to stop buying things now.
