Family Guy and Home Invasion
Exeter, UK
I introduced Julie and Ana to Family Guy last night. They laughed all the way through and finally understood why I say things like "nice warm lager".
I had a home invasion yesterday. I came home from work and Julie was crying. She said some guy had come in and taken some things from the kitchen. She was sitting in the kitchen when she heard the doorbell ring. She went to answer it and there was some guy in a basketball jersey (in plus 5 weather ?!?). He said his basketball was in our back yard. So she invited him to walk through the house to the back to go get it. He went into the back yard, got his ball and then asked for a fag. Julie said she didn"t have one. He stepped back into the kitchen and started grabbing food and nicked a lighter as well. She started to scream (considering he just grabbed food out of her hand) and the perpetrator ran out the front door.
I came home short there after and she told me about it. She gave me a description and I went around the block looking for him. I couldn"t find him and I came back home. As I walked up my steps I noticed there was a basketball in the neighbors yard. I thought to myself, either the perpetrator lives here or they must of scene something. I assumed the perpetrator lived there. I went up and banged at the door. I was ready to knock out who ever opened the door. Suddenly a woman in her mid-40"s opened up. I asked if that was there ball, she said yes. I asked if there was a male in the house wearing a basketball jersey and she said yes. I informed her that he had just committed a home invasion and I was ready to call the police (not really, police don"t do shit in England, they just caution everyone.). The woman told me the kid was retarded, which I noted by his screaming from his room. She went and got the lighter back (I let him keep the food) and promised she won"t let him out of the house again.
Here"s a guide to Exeter Pubs.
