Walkabout, new roommates and Scandinavian 12th December 2001 in Exeter, United Kingdom

The Christmas party on Saturday was really nice. We started at Walkabout, an Australian bar and worked are way down to Mud Dock. The food at Mud Dock was some of the best I"ve eaten in England. They had TV"s everywhere showing Wakeboarding competitions, Beastie Boy"s remixes playing and one of the waitresses was from Vancouver. I felt very at home there, except for my boss stumbling around drunk and throwing things. I took some ice out of one of my drinks, rolled it up with napkins and hit him bang on. Afterward we went to Arena. On the way I tripped and lost my watch. We got to Arena but it was £5 to get in the door. I decided to call it a night.

Sunday I went to go buy a new watch. I ended up buying a cheap gold watch from some dodgy bloke on Sidwell for a tenner. I also got a new winter jacket as well, it"s really nice and warm.

Spanish Ana moved in with me on Sunday. She"s staying for the week until she goes back to Spain. It"s nice to go home and have someone who"ll gladly watch 3 or 4 Family Guy episodes with me and enjoys the same kind of music. I got some Jennifer Lopez remixed in Spanish so she doesn"t feel so home sick.

Danish Anna"s parents left today. They also arrived on Sunday. It"s kind of weird to hear an old Scandinavian Man whom probably never uttered an English word in his life try to say "Howdy Partner". Neither of them spoke a lot of English so I didn"t talk to them that much.

7 working days until I"m on holidays. I can"t wait to relax in a Jacuzzi in London and ski the Rocky Mountains back in Canada.
