A year since I was in New Zealand, 6 Weeks Until the UK 5th August 2001 in Calgary, Canada

I can't believe it's been a year since I left for New Zealand. Everyday I remember what I did on that day a year ago. There are so many memories. It was a bittersweet trip that taught me a little more about myself and the world around me.

In six weeks I will make my voyage over to the UK for two years. I hope to circumnavigate the world and find myself in the process. If I do decide to come back to Canada I'll probably end up living in Vancouver. One thing I do know is that I don't enjoy living in Calgary.

A goal for me right now is to get a job in the UK as a travel agent and to eventually find my way to Latvia and Russia to meet my family.
