Christmas in Canada and back at Work 3rd January 2002 in Exeter, United Kingdom

My flight from Calgary to London didn"t seem very long, which is good because I couldn"t sleep a wink. I kept on trying different Karmasutra-like positions to feel comfortable in the 2 seats of space I had but nothing worked. When I finally got home Julie and Anne greeted me. They had got a nice big Christmas tree after I left.

My first day back at work was good. I think I was the only one really happy to be back. Around 2pm the jet lag started to kick in and I dozed off whilst on the phone with British Telecom. I only had to work until 4pm though so it wasn"t that bad. At 7pm I feel asleep and woke up again at 10pm. After that I couldn"t fall asleep until 3am. I hate jet lag.

Freda is a bit of a mess. Her Dad left her Mom for a younger woman (some 17 years). There might be a few more depressed Danish people in my house soon.

I booked my tickets for Barcelona. I leave on January 31st and come back on Febuary 4th. Should have heaps of photos.
