Kate, Marry Harries and Rural Devon 18th January 2002 in Exeter, United Kingdom
Last night Kate and I went to the "Marry Harries" on the outskirts of Exeter. I knew this was a real English pub because everyone"s head turned when they heard Kate and I chatting. There was some guy at the front of the bar with the biggest, old scotsman side burns I"ve ever seen. The British, for what ever reason, seem to live up to all the sterotypes that I have of them.
I was planning on moving out of my flat (for a variety of reasons). Still not sure if I want to or not. I"m not going to live any closer to work unless I move into my neighbors house.
Kate and I are going out again tonight.
I have to work tomorrow. I"m not as bitter about it as I thought I would be.
