Flying to Thunderbay, Confusion over my last name 8th September 2001 in Thunderbay, Canada
Always suspected something like this...
Appearently my last name is misspelt. Here's what happen. When my Grandparents came over from Belarus they went through Austria. There they had their papers translated. My last name has always been spelt Litwintschik in English.. it was pronounced "Lit-twin-chick". Turns out this is the wrong pronounciation. It is properly read and spelt from Russian "Lit-vin-chik"... so now a delema... continue using the wrong english spelling or change it along with everything else. Litvinchik sounds more Russian. If people see it they can pronounce it and if they hear it they can spell it. I'll have to think about this one.
This morning I woke up and went to the airport. When I got there I had an ice mocca and looked at the wonderful view of Downtown Calgary with the Rockies in the background from the airport terminal. I ran into someone I recognized from high school. She was one of two girls that came over from Russia to study at my school. The funny thing was they didn't know how to dress to "fit in". They were always dressed like complete hookers. They would wear tacky short skirts that barely covered their twats, fishnet stockings and FMB's (Fuck me boots) up to their thighs. When ever they would wait outside for the bus, people would make comments that there was a new "kiddie stroll" in town. Anyway, one of the girls was sitting next to me on my flight. I never knew her personally, nor make conversation with her since she is such a neive slut. All I could do is try not to laugh for the 3 hour flight between Calgary and Toronto.
I arrived in Toronto for the first time in my life, walked into the terminal to the enchanting smell of urine... aparently people pee where they may around Pearson International. Beyond that it was hot and "humid". Humid is an interesting concept to the people of Calgary since it is so bloody dry and we feel like we"ve had a shower with our clothes on when we come into this type of environment. Reminds me of Sydney.
Pretty uneventful from that... got the connection to Thunder Bay and here I am.
For those of you who don't know, I quit CADVision / PSINet on wednesday, due to a technicality I didn't get my 2 weeks pay and thus instead of golfing and sitting around growing the mullet of my dreams I am back at Amonson Wealth Management continuing my Wealth Management Apprentiship. CADVision didn't want to give me a payment schedule for the payback of my computer loan because I'm leaving the country and they would never see their money again. So I had to cough up a $1,007.43 CDN Cheque in 24 hours to them. Crap...
